The Assam Andha Shishu Vidyalaya is situated at the Ward No 4 of Bihpuria Subdivision of Lakhimpur District .rnrnEvery child irrespective of his or her disability should have access to education , healthcare and dignity . Assam Andha Shishu Vidyalaya is committed to providing visually impaired children and youth an opportunity to succeed in life .rnrnThe teachers work hard to educate visually impaired children and young adults through daycareresidential facilities. The 45 students studying here also learn music, dance and learn to play musical instruments such as flute, tabla, dhol, keyboard, nagara etc.rnrnBoth Mr. Diganta Hazarika and Mrs. Priti Goswami are working as the head of the ME & High Section and LP Section respectively .
